Book Recommendations

We never seem to have enough time to get to everything. Book talks, for example, get bumped from our agenda almost all the time. Here's your chance to bring them back! Post your comments on your independent reading books and earn 10 points of extra credit. Please include the title, the author, a brief summary (five or six sentences without spoilers), and specific, insightful reasons why you liked and recommend the book.
